Synopsis:
This TV series is based on a popular novel of the same title by writer Tong Hua.
It shows how a young woman, Zhang Xiao (Liu Shi Shi) from the 21st century China accidentally travels back in time to the 18th century Qing Dynasty during the reign of Kangxi after experiencing a deadly combination of traffic collision and electrocution. She then finds herself trapped in the body of one of her previous incarnations, Ma'ertai Ruoxi.
During that period, she experienced struggle in love between 8th Prince (Kevin Cheng) and 4th Prince (Nicky Wu). She also saw how her close friends suffer due to the power struggle for the throne among the princes. She sworn to change history if she could, but little did she know that she was the one who made it happened.
